I remember watching a Larry King Interview a long time ago; he was interviewing an American who had been resident in Asia for many years, but was now planning on relocating back to the states, so Larry King asked him... Now that you're going back to America, you'll finally be happy, to which the man replied; I have always been happy, it doesn't matter where I am or what is happening.
Dear friend, I want you to know that no matter what is happening, you deserve to be happy, and the happiness starts now. Don't wait till you have a million bucks in your bank account, don't wait till you buy that car, don't wait till you get that dream job before you start thinking of being happy. Happiness starts now. Be upbeat about life and move forward.
As human beings, there is the tendency for us to always postpone our happiness; I'll be happy when I pass my Junior WAEC, then after that, I'll be happy when I pass
my School Cert. Afterwards, I'll be happy when I gain admission into a higher Institution of learning. Then you gain admission, and next you're thinking; Oh, I'll be happy when I finally graduate. Then it becomes; I'll be happy when I finally get a job, then when I get married, then when I start having children. So we tend to keep postponing the happiness, but I want you to know that there is no perfect or suitable time to be happy. You need to decide to be happy right now and be happy always. Happiness starts now. Often times we are blinded by the Illusion that until we have something, we can't be happy, or until things get better; a bigger business or more money will make us happy.Dear friend, I want you to know that no matter what is happening, you deserve to be happy, and the happiness starts now. I'm afraid to burst your bubble, but that is not the case; there are people who have money and run big businesses, but they are not happy. Happiness is not always synonymous with material acquisition. Don't get me wrong here please, you can have the good things and be happy, but what I'm saying is don't delay your happiness because you don't have those things yet. Happiness Starts Now.
